PM IAS Academy Refund Policy

At PM IAS Academy, we strive to provide the highest quality education and ensure that our students have the best experience possible. However, we recognize that circumstances may arise where a student may need to request a refund. To maintain fairness and transparency, we have established the following refund policy, applicable to all courses and programs offered by the academy.


1. Non-Refundable Fees

Certain fees associated with enrollment are non-refundable under any circumstances. These include:

  • Registration Fee: A one-time fee collected during the registration process.
  • Admission Processing Fee: Covers administrative costs for processing applications and admissions.
  • Material Costs: If any study materials, books, or software have been distributed, the associated cost is non-refundable.
  • Taxes: GST of 18% paid and other taxes are non refundable.

These fees are non-refundable to cover administrative and preparatory expenses incurred by the Academy before the course begins.

2. Refund for Course Fee (Before Commencement of Classes)

If a student wishes to withdraw before the course has started:

  • 100% Refund: Students who withdraw within 3 days of making the payment and before the commencement of the course are eligible for a full refund of the tuition fee (excluding non-refundable fees).
  • 50% Refund: Students withdrawing up to 7 days before the course starts will be eligible for a 50% refund of the tuition fee.
  • No Refund: Any withdrawal requests made after course commencement date will not be eligible for a refund.

3. Refund for Course Fee (After Commencement of Classes)

Once a course has commenced, the following policy applies:

  • No Refund: After a course has started, no refund requests will be entertained for any reason, including personal reasons, dissatisfaction with the course, or inability to attend the course due to unforeseen circumstances.

4. Cancellation of a Course by PM IAS Academy

In the unlikely event that PM IAS Academy cancels a course due to unforeseen circumstances, students will be entitled to one of the following:

  • 100% Refund: A full refund of the tuition fee and other charges related to the course.
  • Course Transfer: Students can opt to transfer to another course of equivalent value without any additional charge, subject to availability.

5. Refund for Online Courses

For online courses, the following additional conditions apply:

  • Within 3 Days of Access: A full refund will be provided if a student requests a refund within 3 days of gaining access to the online platform, provided no significant portion of the course content has been accessed.
  • After 3 Days of Access: No refund will be given if a student has accessed more than 10% of the online content, or more than 3 days have passed since enrollment.

6. Refund Procedure

  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to the PM IAS Academy administrative office at support@pmias.in
  • Refund requests will be processed within 15 working days of receiving the request, provided it meets the criteria mentioned in this policy.
  • Refunds will be made through the original mode of payment (credit card, bank transfer, etc.) unless otherwise requested by the student.

7. Exemptions to the Refund Policy

In cases of medical emergencies, bereavement, or other extenuating circumstances, PM IAS Academy may, at its discretion, offer partial refunds or transfer the student to a future course. However, the final decision will rest with the academy, and supporting documentation will be required. This is not applicable on all situations (personal issues, Lack of interest etc)

8. Course Transfer Option

If a student is unable to attend the course they registered for, PM IAS Academy may allow the student to transfer their enrollment to a future session of the same course or another course of equal value. Course transfers must be requested at least 14 days before the start of the originally enrolled course and are subject to availability.

9. Disputes

In the event of a dispute regarding a refund, PM IAS Academy’s decision will be final. However, we encourage students to communicate openly with our administrative team for a resolution.


Note: By enrolling in any of the courses at PM IAS Academy, students agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this refund policy. We recommend that students carefully review all terms before making any payments to ensure that they understand the conditions under which refunds are granted.
